The conference was held online
The 8th edition of the conference is an initiative of the Club of the Young Scientists at the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria – Plovdiv. The main goal is to provide an opportunity for young scientists from different countries to express themselves and to gain more experience and confidence in reporting scientific ideas and results.
Plovdiv is an attractive tourist destination with more than 8 000 years of history. The city is an important economic, transport, cultural, and educational centre. It was the European Capital of Culture in 2019.

PROCEEDINGS
The full text of the papers will be submitted to the Scientific Works of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria (USB – Plovdiv).
These publications will be registered by the ISSN system, referenced and included in the library system for international exchange.
All manuscript submissions will be peer-reviewed.

You will need to prepare a MS Word file with the abstract of the presentation in order to complete the application form. This file will be included in the Book of Abstracts. To meet the requirements, you can use the provided template file. Please read the instructions.

- Participation requests received after 31.05.2020 will be accepted but may not be included in the preliminary program.

- Plenary talk: 30 min.
- Oral presentation: 15 min.
- Poster: size 70 cm х 100 cm

The conference fee includes:
- Oral or Poster presentation

Please take into consideration that:
- The fee covers the publication of one paper with a maximum length of 4 pages.
- There is an extra charge of 15 BGN for any additional page.
- One paper cannot exceed 6 pages.
- The conference proceedings will be publicly available in electronic form. The printed copy will cost an additional 20 BGN.
- One participant may be a co-author of no more than 3 papers.
- The Conference fee for every next paper (maximum 4 pages) is 60 BGN.

AWARDS
A scientific jury for each scientific session will select the best oral presentation and the best poster presented by young scientists. The winners will be awarded.
